NBSC Intra-squad Meet

Description

 

NBSC has rescheduled our intra-squad meet to be on Thursday, Feb. 2nd for ALL Bronze, Silver, Gold and Senior swimmers.  There is no entry fee and ALL swimmers are encouraged to participate.
 
Senior warm-Ups start at 5:30
Age Group warm-ups start at 5:45
Meet will run from 6:00-7:00

 
All swimmers should be at the pool and ready to swim by their warm-up times.


An intra-squad meet gives swimmers an opportunity to experience a meet if they haven't already, but want to.  This will give them a feel of competition, in a fun practice against their teammates.  This meet will also allow the coaches to gauge the progress of their swimmers.  This meet is UNOFFICIAL, which means the times they obtain during their race cannot be used towards USA/WI swimming meets.
 
Parents:  we will need timers for this meet, so please be prepared to help out.  This will also give you an introductory lesson into timing if you plan on siging up for that position during our NBSC Valentine Open.
 
All swimmers will swim 4 individual events.
 
8+Under Swimmers: 25 Free, 25 Back, 25 Breast, 25 Butterfly
 
9+Older Swimmers: 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Butterfly.
 
Please sign up for this meet on-line.  You will need to log on to your secure account, select the "attend this event" for the NBSC Intra-squad Meet and choose either YES or NO that your swimmer will be attending.  Entry deadline is Monday, Jan. 30th.
 
There will be a ice cream social after the intra-squad meet.
